1. We are an existing business with an established customer base but no online presence. We are aiming to commission a website that will maximise the potential for online sales. Can you help?
You are giving us a good foundation to work from. We can construct your site in a way that allows you to fully maintain it in-house. The level of technical skill required to do this will be minimal and we will provide you with full training as part of our package. We will also put together a targeted marketing package to promote your new site.
2. We are an existing business with an established customer base and an existing online presence. Our Internet sales are poor. Can you help?
We will be happy to look at your current site and discuss ways in which marketing may help. If your site hasn’t been developed with sales in mind you may need to commission a new website . One of the main strengths of the service we offer is the fact that our sites can be self maintained. For this to happen we need to construct a website that incorporates a Content Management Solution. We have the skill to modify your existing site, but doing this would not allow us to achieve the main objective we have set ourselves; namely to ensure you are in control of your own website which is optimised for making sales.
3. We are just about to start up in business and we would like to have a website that will ensure we have healthy online sales. Can you help?
You will have to accept that building up a presence on the Internet can take some considerable time and as such sales may not come overnight. You have no business history and no existing customer base from which to build. If your products or services are unique in some way you may be able to penetrate the market quickly, but it has to be said this does not happen very often. We can advise you during our consultation meeting as to whether or not we feel you would benefit from using our services.
4. Do you need to visit our business premises?
Ideally the answer to this question is yes. We can only create a strong working relationship by knowing everything there is to know about you, your business and your products. This includes being familiar with your business premises and understanding how you operate.
5. How far will you travel to meet us?
150 miles (approx.) — we will travel as far North as Aberdeen and as far South as Newcastle Upon Tyne. Areas that don’t fall in between these two cities are unfortunately too far away from our base in central Scotland.
6. Will you visit us even if you think the service you provide is not suited to our type of business?
Regrettably the answer to this question is ‘No’. We will be happy to discuss your requirements on the telephone to try and ascertain whether or not our method of working will benefit your business. Our aim is to ensure that we provide a service that will maximise the chance of healthy online sales. Some websites don’t sell products online (e.g. brochure sites) and some businesses already have websites that they want to continue using. We are not the best solution for firms in either of these two situations.
